Realty Executives International has acquired the Realty Executives Southern Region, its largest territory covering five states: Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
This acquisition marks a year since corporate purchased the remaining shares of the company from former owner Rich Rector.
The purchase sets the course for an aggressive company growth strategy focused on acquisition of competitive brands, independent brokerages and Realty Executives Brokers who are looking to retire.

Alan Marks and his team at Realty Executives Boston West hit the jackpot recently, landing at No.777 on the Swanepoel top 1000 brokerages list.

Realty Executives Exceptional Realtors® has been recognized by Energage as the best mid-sized workplace in North New Jersey. The Top Workplaces program invited organizations across businesses, non-profits, and government offices to uncover the best places to work and provide valuable insight to employers. With offices throughout northern New Jersey and Pike County Pennsylvania, Realty Executives Exceptional Realtors® was recognized as the Top Workplace in the Midsize Category (150-399 employees) and also received a special award for direction.
Chief Operating Officer Kyle Poskitt called the recognition a “big deal” as the awards came directly from the firm’s people. Awards were based on a study which surveyed employees at participating workplaces and then ranked employers on the results of those 24-question surveys.

Realty Executives Metro is the top-producing office in Brooklyn, NY, closing $135 million in sales volume from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, according to The Real Deal magazine. The outlet, which covers real estate news in the New York City market, analyzed MLS sales data for Brooklyn and then ranked the top 10 firms in the borough. Continue reading →
Diana Bustamante has been working in the real estate industry for over 25 years. “My first semester in college, I started working part-time as a receptionist at a real estate office. The manager offered to pay for my classes to get a real estate license but I found the ‘sales job’ too difficult because of the time limitations,” she explains. “But when I graduated from college I couldn’t find a job that would pay what I wanted, so I decided to try real estate.”
She then went from being an agent to a Broker and a real estate instructor. She specializes in corporate, military and retirement relocation, as well as commercial and investment real estate.
“Every day is different. You get to meet new people all the time and some clients become great friends,” she shares.
Duane Washkowiak, REALTOR® and Designated Broker of Realty Executives East Valley, has been elected to serve as the treasurer of Arizona Regional Multiple Listing Service (ARMLS). ARMLS has approximately 33,000 REALTOR® subscribers, making it one of the largest multiple listing services in the country.
“I am happy to serve ARMLS and work to improve services to subscribers,” says Washkowiak. “My focus will be on providing tools that our members need, along with making sure we continue to grow as a company.”
Ramon Cardenas was studying finance at California State University when he discovered real estate. “My goal was to be a stock broker or personal banker,” he says.
“I was introduced to real estate during my last year at college, so I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and a minor in Real Estate.” He graduated top of the real estate class of 2007 and went on to become a top-performing agent, continuously placing in the top 20% of REALTORS® in Los Angeles County when ranked by sales volume.
