On November 1st, Pam Vreeland, a Sparta, New Jersey Realtor® with Realty Executives Exceptional Realtors®, was named Realtor® of the Year. The award was announced at Farmstead Golf & Country Club during the annual breakfast meeting of the Sussex County Association of Realtors®.

When it comes to global real estate, Dubai is at the top of the most-wanted list. From record-breaking property sales, to new developments raising standards in innovation and luxury, to September’s highly anticipated premiere of Million Dollar Listing UAE (the first international version of the hit series), the entire world continues to be captivated by the allure of Dubai – and foreign investors are capitalizing on it.
As Dubai’s economy and population have continued to rise, so has the influx of foreign real estate investors from all over the world, including Canada, India, the U.K., Russia, Germany, France, and even the U.S. Luxury real estate is the new global currency, and a safe and lucrative platform for investors looking to diversify their portfolios. This makes Dubai’s luxury real estate market an enticing asset for foreign real estate investors to consider.
Entrepreneurship is a demanding and challenging career path
that requires a unique set of skills and traits such as risk-taking,
determination, creativity, and adaptability. Not everyone is cut out for it as
it can involve long hours, creating your own structure, financial uncertainty,
and stress related to decision-making. Often people do not find themselves in
an entrepreneurial role until later in life.
As a young university student, Realtor® Micah Pelster was unusually clear eyed in determining that entrepreneurship was meant for him. Despite taking part time studies at MacEwan University, it was time for him to break into the real estate industry. He decided to start his business and begin making a name for himself.
Realty Executives Home Towne, a full-service real estate brokerage with locations in Port Huron, Washington Township, Chesterfield Township, Shelby Township, and Troy was named the 2022 Extraordinary Brokerage award recipient during the recent Realty Excellence™ Awards.
The prestigious award is issued to one
brokerage per year. Nominees must demonstrate how to build a real estate business
that puts clients and agents first. The brokerage should boast powerful growth
in agent headcount and market share each year, inclusive culture, and unparalleled
professionalism. These brokerages often offer a high level of brokerage
support, sense of community, and forward-thinking leadership.
Executives Platinum Agents’ owner is passionate about getting involved in the
communities she serves.
Andrea Martone, a top New Jersey Realtor® and the owner of Realty Executives Platinum Agents, has an unquenchable passion for real estate combined with compassion for her community… and both of those qualities are evident through her dedication to both her clients and community service.
Realty Executives Home Towne of Port Huron, Michigan, is pleased to announce that Lisa Glombowski has been honored as the Eastern Thumb Association of Realtors® 2021 Realtor of the Year. This award recognizes the behaviors and attributes that make a real estate professional shine: service to the community and the association, ethical behavior, commitment to bettering the profession, and participation in civic and charitable opportunities. Nominees for the award were submitted by peers in the association. The final selection was made by an anonymous vote by the Board of Directors.
Looking back, Glombowski says she carried an unexplainable attraction to real estate for years before deciding to make a career switch. Despite having multiple people try to dissuade her, she obtained her license in 2013. “I was working at an orthodontist office, my kids were off to college, and I felt that I finally had the time to commit to starting my own business,” she said. “What was the worst that could happen? No matter what, I was going to gain knowledge.”
Realty Executives Sudduth Realty and Auctions, Inc. has been honored as the 2021 Top Auction Firm with the Wichita Business Journal. As a full-service real estate brokerage led by Broker/Owner Mark Sudduth, this Augusta business takes client service to the next level by specializing in traditional sales and real estate auctions. Experiencing explosive growth in the past few years, the firm has become one of the leading auction firms in south central Kansas.
“Contrary to what some may believe, hosting an auction is
not ‘giving away’ a property. In fact, effective marketing allows us to
successfully increase visibility for unique homes, farms, ranches, and
investment properties- properties that are often time incomparable to others in
the area. Although it isn’t appropriate
for every client and property, an auction can be a great option to consider. We
view it as an additional service that our Executives have in their arsenal,”
According to the National Association of REALTORS® 2021 Member Profile, agents in the business for two years or less averaged three transactions in 2020- or roughly $400,000 in sales volume. For most of those agents, their real estate work generated less than $10,000 in income.
Not for Mary Giles of Realty Executives Select Group in Sandusky, Ohio.
Despite a pandemic and inventory shortage, Giles decided to obtain her real estate license in November 2020. Since that time, she has closed 20 homes, has four more under contract, and has closed over $2.5 million in sales volume in an area where home prices average $100,000. To jumpstart real estate careers for other new agents looking to become highly productive, Giles sat down with us to share her story, strategies, and recommendations.
