Sevierville, TN, is excited to announce their partnership with luxury home
developer, Pigs Fly. This partnership will allow the brokerage access to
multi-million-dollar listings in the exclusive mountain neighborhood, The
The Summit, 565 acres and up to 3000 feet in
elevation, offers panoramic views of The Great Smoky Mountains, no state income
tax, underground utilities, fire protection, direct developer-to-consumer
pricing, paved roads and an average of 1.97 acres per home site. Accessible but
private, The Summit is an oasis to second homeowners or retirees looking to
escape the city. Home developer Shane Wood began building rustic,
energy-efficient homes in The Summit in 2009 and has built 13 to date. In 2019,
Wood partnered with former contractor David Runyan, who had started Pigs Fly in
February of 2018. Together they own 11 properties throughout the Summit.
Wood and Runyan began their friendship after
Runyan, originally from Florida, had bought his first home in The Summit. From
there, Runyan purchased another property and saw an opportunity to expand the
relationship into a business partnership.
Realty Executives International has launched the newest addition to their exclusive training suite, the 2020 Digital Marketing Executive course. This four-week certification course is offered annually to all Executives, Broker/Owners and office employees of the Realty Executives’ franchises.
The educational event is held virtually twice per week for four weeks. Brand leadership including President, Patrick van den Bossche, and Vice President, David Celaya, are joined by various guest speakers to lead the network through a multitude of topics pertaining to real estate in the digital world. Topics include: social media advertising, leveraging your CRM, perfecting online profiles and more. The goal of the DMX certification is for all attendees to leave with a digital strategy and execution plan for their business.
Realty Executives International launched the 2020 course, understanding the evolving state of real estate and the opportunities for business that lie ahead. As many agents and brokers are having to adapt to staying distant from clients, the brand wanted to provide different opportunities to utilize downtime and connect with clients through digital channels. By providing the training course free-of-cost, Executives and Brokers are able to provide better service to home buyers and sellers around the world.

Finding the perfect home is already a challenge, but finding a home that can host several horses, donkeys and minis, may be one the hardest finds. That was the challenge Beth Williams of Realty Executives White Mountains faced when she was hired by Christine Griffin, founder of animal sanctuary, Equine WellBeing Rescue.
In 2012, Williams was hired by Griffin to find a property that had a family cabin along with shelter and land for the equines that were going to be cared for throughout the seasons, all at the right price. Understanding Griffin’s passion for animal rescue and the importance of their mission was key to Williams having the determination and expertise to search northern Arizona for the right home.
Equine WellBeing Rescue was founded in 2006 by Griffin in San Diego, CA before moving the non-profit to Snowflake, AZ for more affordable housing and resource costs. The equine rescue is a 501c3 public charity that provides loving rehabilitation, nursing, and hospice care for equines at risk, waiting for adoption, or with medical needs. Additionally, the charity provides community support by offering an emergency equine food fund for those in need of short-term assistance caring for their animals. They continue to work with regional, state, and national rescues to assist during disasters or emergencies while working with law enforcement agencies to help find homes for neglected or abused equines. Equine WellBeing Rescue is 100 percent volunteer based.

Realty Executives is the first real estate franchisor to replace its third-party Multiple Listing Service (MLS) aggregator with a proprietary home listing platform. This new technology eliminates the third-party challenges of incomplete and delayed listing information, ensuring Realty Executives has the most comprehensive, up-to-date and consistent home listings available.
Needing access to hundreds of separate MLS feeds, international real estate companies have had to partner with MLS aggregation and standardization companies in order to provide a comprehensive list of homes for sale. However, these listings are often incomplete because of broken feeds third-party vendors have not addressed. Realty Executives decided to connect directly to over 70 MLS feeds in order to provide their brokers, agents and customers access to the most thorough and up-to-date listings available.
