For the past five years or so, Waunakee’s Wine Walks have drawn hundreds to the downtown area to visit the shops and experience a night out.
But many may not realize that the event, organized by a small group of energetic women, raises funds to help the community.
The Waunakee Professional Women’s group, or WPW, is a 501 © 3 nonprofit and uses the proceeds for college scholarships and to help Waunakee residents in need.
For 20 years, Gina Marie John had been an agent for a Re/Max real estate office with the dream of one day being a broker and owner at her own firm. That dream came true a few months ago when she opened Realty Executives Capital City, 5707 Highway 51, McFarland.
“This is a brand new venture,” John said.
She began working out of the office in the first week of February and the sign was installed on the building March 25. Young held a ribbon-cutting and open house March 28 to celebrate.
Congratulations to Realty Executives Elite’s Megan Beechen for being selected by REALTOR® Magazine for the 30 Under 30 Class of 2019. Serving the Chicagoland Suburbs in Illinois, Beechen has quickly became a top producer at her brokerage and in her market.
Each year, REALTOR® Magazine selects 30 outstanding young real estate professionals that strive for excellence in their field to the 30 Under 30 class. Hundreds of real estate agents and brokers applied while only 50 were chosen to go to the public for voting. One of the applicants moves forward from the public voting, while the other 29 are chosen by judges. The final 30 young professionals selected will be featured in the May-June issue of REALTOR® Magazine.

With more than 1,000 closed sales in the MLS, over $200 million in production, and a new office established on the bustling Crown Point square, it’s almost an understatement to say that Realty Executives Premier has had a successful year. The Good Neighbor Award recognizes and rewards REALTORS® across the state of Missouri for their dedication to local communities and volunteer service. The winner of the annual Missouri Good Neighbor Award receives $2,500 for his or her charity, as well as statewide recognition.
As part of its continued growth strategy, Realty Executives International announced today that it has acquired the remaining 50 percent of Realty Executives Northern Arizona. By fully investing in the Northern Arizona brokerage, the corporate office now has significant skin in the game, giving both management and franchisees more incentive to produce results.
Broker/Owner Don Bonnell will continue to oversee the operations of the Northern Arizona brokerage, as he has since 2005. The acquisition includes expanded support and enhanced services in order to develop a deeper business relationship with the brokerage.
Realty Executives is proud to be well represented on the leadership team for the Arizona Association of Realtors® (“AAR”) with 75 percent of the team being represented by Realty Executives. The board is elected by association members and leads AAR in its goals and legislative discussion.
AAR is the largest trade organization in Arizona, representing more than 50,000 Arizona Realtors®. The association works to better the profession of real estate and is dedicated to the protection of private property rights and best interests of Arizona Realtors® in legislation. Members meet to discuss regional and national issues and to support other real estate professionals. AAR strives to provide top education and training for its members and several other benefits.
Realty Executives Eagle Pass Broker/Owner and real estate consultant, Doris Salinas-Sanchez, has launched a new DSS Coaching System for real estate professionals. To kick off the launch, Salinas-Sanchez created a 90-day action planner to help real estate agents and brokers manage their business efficiently and help them stay focused on personal and professional goals.
The planner, which includes guided dialogues and tips for success, was created to be a track record for business and income activities along with a way to evaluate progress throughout the quarter.

Spirits were high as Realty Executives Premier, a real estate company based in Valparaiso, hosted their public and official grand opening of their brand new location in Crown Point.
Several locations were considered for the new office, including spaces on Broadway and areas in Winfield. However, the company hit a stroke of luck when they caught wind of the Crown Point location’s availability before it even went to market.
“We love being in downtown Crown Point,” said Pam Tezak, who runs the agency alongside her husband Mike. “We started in downtown Valpo, so we decided to continue that downtown trend in Crown Point; we could not be happier with the location,” continued Tezak.
Realty Executives Premiere is excited to announce that Lisa Hoffmann has joined as Director of Agent Development, bringing her skills and passion to work with new and experienced agents across Illinois. As part of her new role, Hoffmann will offer a whole new curriculum for Executives while incorporating elements of Realty Executives’ EXEC™ University, and will conduct one-on-one classes that are focused on agents’ long-term goals.
Hoffmann will be a great asset to Realty Executives Premiere as they focus on bringing in new energy and attracting new Executives to the brand. The office takes pride in developing its Executives, providing onsite coaching to help them escalate their real estate careers and perform at the highest level.
