Realty Executives Vision Gears Up for New Year Following Successful Grand Re-Opening Celebration

2017 has been an eventful year for Edmonton-area real estate experts Steve and Darlene Reid, who opened Realty Executives Vision this summer and celebrated with a Grand Re-Opening event in the fall. Realty Executives International caught up with the powerhouse pair as they set their sights on expansion and look ahead to the New Year.

  1. How have the last few months gone? How has the community received you?

It’s been a whirlwind of activity, that’s for sure! We’ve been spending a lot of time talking to real estate professionals who are curious about our office. It’s been gratifying to hear so many of them say that they are glad Realty Executives is maintaining a strong presence in Edmonton. And yes, a lot of them have expressed interest in joining our team. As a result of our Grand Re-Opening, we’ve hired new Executives and look forward to growing our team.

  1. What differentiates your office and agents from the competition?

Our office takes Realty Executives’ approach to real estate seriously – offering leading-edge technology and support with lower fees. This is attractive for those who are motivated and entrepreneurial because there is more of a payoff for the effort they put in. Agents who put in the time, who look for ways to improve themselves and their business, and who put their clients first thrive under this model. In addition to Realty Executives’ proprietary PrimeAgent marketing suite (which is AMAZING), our office offers in-depth training from local experts. Our Executives benefit from ongoing professional education offered by our broker (who is also a lawyer) plus one-on-one, high-performance training from a perennial top producer.  We cover the bases, from legal and marketing, to technology and client care. We don’t just want a brokerage with a lengthy roster, we’re focused on creating a centre of real estate excellence.

  1. What are your growth plans?

We anticipate spending the next year “getting the word out” about the incredible value and experience we can offer as a Realty Executives franchise.  While we look to dramatically multiply our agent count, we’ll focus on upholding our promise of providing expertise and superior service to our agents – investing in them, always.

  1. How was the Grand Re-Opening?

It was definitely a success!  People kept stopping by throughout the event and it was fascinating to talk to them and hear about their interest in Realty Executives.  Many of them were GLAD that Realty Executives was going to be here for a long time, even if they had no plans to leave their current brokerage.  Being part of a brand and a team that engenders that kind of industry respect was gratifying for us. We were proud. Just that simple. Proud of being a part of such a respected brand with an international footprint. We wore our colours with pride!  Building positive and productive relationships with more of our fellow industry members was a happy byproduct of our event.

We were so grateful that Alysia Heun, Vice President of Franchise Services for Realty Executives International joined us. She was BUSY, with many people hoping to learn more about the brand.

  1. What other events or community activities do you have planned?

We are going to host additional social evenings to dine, talk shop, and share insights. We will also be hosting educational sessions for industry members.  Our leadership team brings expertise that can benefit others, and we’re ready to share our experience and knowledge. We also plan to support community events throughout the region and volunteer as a team.

  1. Is there anything else about your philosophy that you would like to share?

We offer more than our competitors – all the technology, better support, experience and expertise PLUS lower fees.  Our Executives are motivated and empowered because they keep more of what they earn. We equip, train, and support our agents but they are otherwise free to innovate and succeed on their own terms. It’s an ideal recipe for true entrepreneurs. That’s the essence of our philosophy.
