Realty Executives Premiere Named “Brokerage of the Month” for December 2017

Realty Executives Premiere has been recognized as Brokerage of the Month for December 2017 by Realty Executives International. Now Celebrating 25 years of real estate excellence, the powerhouse firm in northern Illinois thrives under the leadership of Broker/Owner Pat Callan and Office Manager Jenny Holloway.

With Callan at the helm since the firm’s inception in 1993, Realty Executives Premiere began with just two agents and has grown by 1,500%. Today, the brokerage is home to more than 30 real estate professionals across two branch locations in Wheaton and Aurora, serving homebuyers and sellers throughout the Chicagoland area with a focus on the western suburbs. Realty Executives Premiere continues to redefine what it means to be a leader, with the company’s incredible per-agent productivity and hands-on engagement at the local, state, and national level making a lasting impact on real estate professionals, and championing the communities they serve.

Throughout the brokerage’s 25-year history, Callan has responded to the shifts and challenges in the real estate business with an active voice and profound commitment to industry leadership. The deeply held belief that it’s the Executive’s “Book of Business” and not the company’s business is reflected in leadership decisions across the board. Realty Executives Premiere provides a platform that allows it’s agents to operate their businesses within a supportive environment with cost effective tools and the philosophy that every agent is a stakeholder. As for the results? The agents at Realty Executives Premiere get more deals done and offer incredible local expertise because of their exemplary productivity and industry insights.

“Our per-agent productivity is approximately 15.9 transactions per year, which is one of the highest in our area according to our local MLS, Midwest Real Estate Data,” Holloway said.

To effectively represent all of those homebuyers and sellers, the agents at Realty Executives Premiere are equipped with a unique and key resource: their broker Pat Callan. With a leadership resume that spans the local, state, and national level, Callan’s real estate acumen sets his brokerage apart in today’s ever changing real estate environment.

“Serving the industry through leadership allows me to discern the threats, changes, and advancements affecting my brokerage business and our Executives at an early stage. This allows us to react early and stay current with the changes affecting our business practices and our client’s private property rights. Our Executives rely on my industry knowledge and involvement to keep them informed of the critical issues affecting their ability to perform their services to clients and manage their business,” Callan said.

Throughout the last 25 years, Callan has served on numerous committees and task forces for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), Illinois REALTORS®, and the Mainstreet Organization of REALTORS® (MORe). Continuing to lead the way, Callan was installed on NAR’s 2018 Board of Directors in November.

Throughout 2018, in addition to serving on NAR’s Finance Committee, Multiple Listing Issues and Policy Committee, and Reserves Investment Advisory Board, Callan will preside as Federal Political Coordinator to Congressman Peter Roskam, the Chairman of the Tax Policy Subcommittee of the House Ways and Means Committee.

“I met extensively with the Congressman during the recent Tax Reform bill negotiations in an effort to protect housing and commercial real estate from significant changes to the tax benefits enjoyed by our clients/constituents,” Callan said.

“We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to fix our broken tax code and enhance American competitiveness for generations to come. I’m honored to hold this important gavel and look forward to putting it to good use shepherding tax reform across the finish line,” said Chairman Roskam in a statement.

In addition to these tremendous roles, Callan will act as a mentor to the companies involved in NAR’s REach Venture Capital Accelerator program. He will also serve on a host of committees and member involvement groups for both Illinois REALTORS® and MORe, encompassing Finance, Audit, Strategic Planning, and Performance and Compensation Review. For Illinois REALTORS®, Callan is Chairman of the Real Property Alliance, a 504(c) Organization committed to the advocacy of issues protecting private property rights.

The leadership legacy available to the agents at Realty Executives Premiere is second to none. Callan has taken top roles as President of MORe (2000) and Illinois REALTORS® (2009). He was named Illinois REALTOR® of the Year in 2014 and twice named REALTOR® of the Year for MORe. More important than accolades and prestige are the changes Callan has helped impart on the industry, the advancements he’ll continue to work towards, and the impact on the lives of everyday homebuyers and sellers that stand to be bettered.

Coupled with the brokerage’s industry leadership is an emphasis on giving back, both as a team and as individuals. Realty Executives Premiere has contributed to Make-A-Wish and Habitat for Humanity for 25 years. Additionally, Executives volunteer their time, talent and treasure to numerous charitable and civic organizations in support of the communities in which they live and work. In the time ahead, the group will focus their efforts on the local Habitat for Humanity chapter to expand upon the two builds the firm has already taken part in. Over the 2017 holiday season, the office raised $3,500 to support Packages for the Troops, the Realty Executives Canned Food Drive and the Winfield Township “Adopt-A-Family” organization.

“I have always believed it is important to give back to one’s industry and community,” Callan said. Callan does not just pay homage to the idea of “leading by example.” He lives it. This incredible Illinois brokerage is one reason why Realty Executives is “powered by experts.”
