Rob Heming - Biography

While starting his career in real estate in 2001, Rob spent more than 20 years managing large children's camps, conference centres and outdoor recreational businesses, including the following:

Executive Director - Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, Midland, Ontario
Co-Director - Camp Tawingo, Huntsville, Ontario
Managing Director, Bark Lake Leadership Centre, Haliburton, Ontario
Camping and Outdoor Education Consultant, Ontario Ministry of Tourism and Recreation, Toronto, Ontario
Director, YMCA Wanakita, Haliburton, Ontario

In the 1990s and early 2000s, Rob also taught part-time for more than 10 years at Sir Sandford Fleming College in the Eco-Tourism Management Program. This post-graduate course certified students to work in the burgeoning eco-tourism industry.

Assisting not-for-profit organizations in board and volunteer development has always been important, and he continues to work with many organizations in this area.

As a past president and board member of our local real estate board, he has worked diligently to represent members' interests and further the professionalism of the realtor.
