The exterior walls of rammed earth were constructed by hand-tamping a mixture of aggregate materials between forms to create a colorful striation. Exactly the material used in the buildings of historic ranches in Arizona and New Mexico. This produced the curvilinear nature to the front of the home bringing an organic texture of art in of itself. As you go through the home, you are always walking toward a point of beauty.
