5390 Highway 1 Grant Station dates back to 1893, originally built by Louis Benson and later operated by Lars Jorgensen as Jorgensen's General Store, serving as a residence, general store, post office, telegraph office, and trading post for the community. The property changed hands in 1956 and continued operating as a general store until closing in the early 1960s. It was restored in the 1990s and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. In 2011, Chris Pozgar purchased and renovated the Historic Grant Station, which today operates as Florida's first East Coast Rib City and has expanded to include multiple complementary businesses across the site. National Register of Historic Places: 99000711
