Reclaimed French doors were added to enclose the office, a mahogany new entry door, pantry was expanded, and additional double doors were introduced to the sunroom. Larger windows and doors were incorporated to enhance natural light and create a brighter, more open feel throughout the home. The primary suite was enhanced by incorporating larger casement windows and a scale appropriate light fixture, and dressing room was outfitted with built-in cabinetry and proper lighting to assist with the flexible use of the space. Vintage inspired cast iron sink defines the powder room, anchoring elements of modern design with older features. Natural brass faucets were incorporated in kitchen and bath to provide quality and the natural patina that allows a home to age lovingly. Lighting played a central role in the design, with layered, warm glow thoughtfully planned to enhance both function and ambiance—adding artistic character and depth to every room. Some were even done on a budget, while always maintaining the integrity of quality materials that can be versatile with time. Warm white walls throughout the home allow room to with the decor and art as time passes, allowing homeowners to enjoy styles that evolve with their living. Furnishings incorporated elements from original owners like guest beds and office desk that were refinished, with high-quality, high-durability furnishings meant for a home to be lived in to the fullest.
