Anyone else have a huge case of spring fever? Green grass, fresh flowers, blossoms on the trees...now is also the time when sellers make the move to put their homes on the market. If you're interested in selling in Pike or Wayne County please give me a call for a complimentary market analysis of your home & if you're a buyer, keep checking back for new listings to come on the market!
It's finally that time of year again where we can get those hanging baskets and annuals in the ground & in the air. I absolutely love flowers and flower gardening. Here in the Wayne & Pike County areas, it's usually right around the beginning of May that you can safely start without freeze warnings. Luckily we have those perennials to balance us out and already have some growth coming up and maybe some blooms already. I came across this great article for beginning flower gardeners lisitng the top 30 plant/flower suggestions to consider when starting your own. Happy spring & happy planting.

Anyone else feel like this winter in Northeast PA will never end? I'm sure the end HAS to be in sight---so I came across this article with some tips on outdoor spring clean up from the "This Old House" website that I thought was worth sharing. If you're thinking of selling your home, this will help with that "first impression" when buyers pull in & will also get your home photo ready. If not, it's a great article to use as a reference point to spruce up your yard for the season (when it finally comes!).
