With more than 25 years of corporate leadership experience in the telecommunications industry and over a decade of distinguished success in real estate, Maribel Salgado-Little brings her business acumen well beyond real estate transactions. She has contributed her expertise and leadership through service on boards, task forces, and committees at both local and state levels, where she has helped shape policy and elevate professional standards across the real estate industry.

In the telecom industry Maribel spearheaded international business development and directed global engineering and project management teams for a fortune 500 company. Her leadership advanced the deployment of cutting-edge law enforcement radio technology and real-time software solutions, enhancing situational awareness and strengthening public safety operations worldwide.

Maribel transitioned from her corporate job into the real estate industry and works full-time with Realty Executives Elite, where she has spent more than 11 years as a REALTOR® and later pursued her license as a Managing Broker and holds several real estate designations showing her excellence and expertise in the profession.  She consistently ranks among the top 3% of REALTORS® out of 20,000 members with the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors and recognized by the Realty Executives corporate franchise as a top producer in real estate. She has also been honored with the prestigious John Veneris Award by Realty Executives corporate office for exceptional contributions to the real estate industry.

Maribel’s dedication to advocacy has taken her to the White House with the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP), where she engaged with United State Senators and Members of Congress to address regulatory barriers to affordable housing. She also participates in Lobby Day Advocacy in Springfield, Illinois, collaborating with REALTOR® colleagues to educate legislators on equitable housing policies. She is equally committed to advancing education and guiding first-time homebuyers through the complexities of homeownership, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and confidence to succeed in obtaining the dream of homeownership so they can create generational financial wealth.

In 2025, Maribel was appointed by the Illinois Realtors Association as the State Legislative contact for the 28^th district to partner with legislators to keep them up to date on real estate issues impacting homeowners and is a voice for homeowners as they take into consideration laws regulators will be considering. Maribel provides education on initiatives, advocacy, and champions issues that matter most for homeowners, business, and community development.
