About Doris Salinas-Sánchez
Dora Elia “Doris” Salinas-Sánchez is the Broker/Owner of Sánchez Salinas & Associates, LLC, doing business as Realty Executives of Eagle Pass, Realty Executives Del Rio, and Realty Executives Nexus in San Antonio, Texas.
With more than two decades of real estate experience, Doris has built a reputation as one of South Texas’ most respected real estate brokers, specializing in residential, commercial, industrial, investment, multifamily, farm and ranch, land development, and government-owned properties. She is recognized for her strategic market knowledge, strong negotiation skills, ethical leadership, and unwavering commitment to helping clients build long-term wealth through real estate.
Born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, and raised along the Eagle Pass–Piedras Negras border, Doris brings a unique bicultural perspective to the marketplace. As a fully bilingual broker (English and Spanish), she has successfully represented local, national, and international buyers, sellers, developers, and investors throughout Texas.
Doris began her real estate career in 2006 and quickly established herself as one of Maverick County’s top-producing agents. In 2008, she became a Broker/Owner with the internationally recognized Realty Executives franchise, where she has continued to grow one of the region’s most respected real estate companies.
Her expertise extends across every stage of the real estate process, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, property management, development consulting, investment analysis, relocation services, and complex negotiations involving commercial and residential assets.
A significant part of Doris’ career has been dedicated to the marketing and disposition of government-owned properties. Since 2015, she has proudly served as a HUD Listing Broker for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, representing HUD-owned properties across multiple South Texas counties. She also serves as a USDA Listing Broker, marketing and selling USDA foreclosed properties on behalf of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. These prestigious assignments reflect her expertise in valuation, compliance, marketing, and the successful disposition of government-owned real estate.
Beyond traditional brokerage services, Doris frequently advises investors, developers, business owners, and families on real estate strategies that help create long-term financial security. Her experience includes assisting clients with commercial developments, multifamily investments, land acquisitions, industrial properties, owner financing, investment properties, distressed assets, and redevelopment opportunities throughout South Texas.
Doris’ commitment to her profession extends well beyond brokerage. She served on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Eagle Pass from 2019 through 2025, contributing to land use planning, zoning decisions, and responsible community growth. She has also served on the Realty Executives International Franchise Advisory Council, helping shape strategic initiatives for one of the world’s most recognized real estate brands.
Prior to entering real estate full-time, Doris enjoyed a successful career in education. She served as a Certified Secondary Mathematics teacher with the Eagle Pass Independent School District for eleven years and was selected by the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to participate in the development and evaluation of Texas statewide mathematics assessment standards.
Earlier in her career, she worked in international sales specializing in industrial, mining, and construction equipment, providing her with a strong business foundation that continues to benefit her clients today.
Doris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management Engineering with a minor in Business and has earned numerous Real Estate professional certifications and designations throughout her career. (Attended Universidad Autonoma del Noreste, Sul Ross State University, Texas A & M Commerce, Champion School of Real Estate, CCIM Institute, among other institutes). In 2018, she received her International Certification as a Life Coach, with specialized training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Emotional Intelligence, awarded by the International Institute of Alternative and Holistic Therapies (ITAHI) and the American Association of Wellness and Human Potential (AAWAHP).
