In order to reduce the burden of the property taxes the developer applied for and was approved for a Re-Subdivision in the early part of the 1940’s. This country club and cabin lot subdivision was named Marrland. Currently only a handful of the original cabin lots still remain privately owned and a few were subdivided into the surrounding acreage.
