2021 Ancient City Game Fish Association Challenge Tournaments

Charter Fishing

Join the Ancient City Game Fish Association for one of the Premier Fishing Tournaments in Northeast Florida. Thursday is Kids Night, Friday is the Junior Angler Tournament, and Friday & Saturday is Kingfish Offshore Visual Checkout. The weekend also includes live music, food, raffles, and more. The Junior Challenge is $25, the KingFish Challenge is $320, and the Backwater/Kayak challenge is $75. 70's Disco Dress Up Party

Casino Royale Tournament Weekend

On Saturday, enjoy 18 holes at your leisure to practice for Sunday's Poker Golf Tournament. Saturday evening, there will be a semi-formal Casino evening with real Poker, Black Jack, Roulette and Craps tables, passed hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction. Sunday's tournament continues in theme with special challenges on chosen holes to earn a poker hand for prizes. Closest to pin and longest drive as well. Tournament will be for foursomes and will be a scramble, with shotgun start at 8AM.

Florida's 200th Anniversary Celebration

200th Anniversary Celebration

July 10, 2021 marks the 200th Anniversary of Florida becoming a United States Territory. To commemorate this occasion, the City of St. Augustine, in partnership with St. Johns County, University of Florida Historic St. Augustine, the Florida National Guard, and Historic Florida Militia will present a series of special events that are free of charge and open to the public.
At 11:00 AM in front of the Governor’s House Museum, there will be an “Act of Transfer” Ceremony. Immediately following the “Act of Transfer” Ceremony, the viewing public is invited to march behind the living history interpreters to the Florida National Guard Parade Grounds for the “Change of Flags” ceremony.
