Barbara Brown

Barbara grew up in Butler.  After graduating she went onto attend Clarion College where she studied speech therapy.

A performer and director at heart, Barbara joined an international traveling group performing song and dance throughout Canada, the United States, Germany, Belgium, and Scandinavia.

Her group brought joy and entertainment to patients in hospitals, inmates in jail, and community events.  Within the group she was the Public Relations Manager and a Dance Captain for their singing and dancing performances throughout the tour. She was responsible for the visual aspect and operation of their performances.  She also led her group to deliver a great program at Radio City Music Hall. 

Faced with a knee injury Barbara had to shift gears.

Barbara has a passion for helping seniors.   Following her calling she found the perfect job and became a Recreational l Director at Lincoln Park Nursing Home.  She provided mental, spiritual, and increased the residents' well-being.  Barbara inspired and provided the nurture they needed during this time of their life.

After that, she moved to Montville as a Social Director for Senior residents where she designed and implemented their activities, ran the gift shop, created a periodic newsletter for their residents, and visited family members.  Barbara also engaged the local community to volunteer and ensured she provided the best experience to all lives she touched.

Barbara worked as an Administration Assistant at Cystic Fibrosis Foundation where she supported fund-raising events, bookkeeping, wrote press releases and increased donations.

She has been with the Good Counsel Church as Choir Director in Pompton Plains for over sixteen years.  Barbara develops the music program, leads the choir and is passionate about guiding & providing sincere care for her parish community when a member is faced with a loved one’s funeral. She also, creates music to celebrate the sacrament of marriage.

Barbara has a love for interior design and can provide creative visions for her buyers.

She is happily married to her husband Kevin of thirty-one years. They have raised two beautiful daughters Abbey aged twenty-four and Leah age twenty.

Barbara has helped others throughout her whole life.  She has served and improved so many lives, and will no doubt be the perfect real estate agent to assist her clients whether buying or selling their home.
