2651 N READING ROAD The Swartzville General Store is how this property was known when it was first built in 1851. It served as the local general store, post office and living quarters for the families which were the caretakers of the store until the 1970's. Located in the center of the "Antique Strip" it made a perfect location for an Antique Shop, Sonny's Country Store Antiques, which operated here successfully from the 70's until the owners passing in 2016. The building has most of its original architectural details and has several details unique to the general store, such as an Indian door and a secret door to monitor people in the store. Original shelving and counters remain with the property.
