During their recent annual meeting at Farmstead Golf and Country Club, Sussex County Association of REALTORS\u00ae named Catherine Kut REALTOR\u00ae of the Year for 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winner of this respected award is chosen annually by a committee of REALTOR\u00ae peers. The criteria for being named REALTOR\u00ae of the Year include involvement in the Sussex County Association of REALTORS\u00ae, National Association of REALTORS\u00ae, community and humanitarian service activities, business accomplishments, and overall REALTOR\u00ae spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

About the REALTOR\u00ae of the Year Recognition<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

According to Emily Bowden, Executive Officer for the Sussex County Association of REALTORS\u00ae<\/a>, \u201cThe REALTOR\u00ae of the Year is a person that gives of themselves. They do not look for compliments, they do not announce what they do or wait for someone to ask of them. They volunteer, they help others\u2026What they do comes from their hearts. Cathy exemplifies the good that REALTORS\u00ae stand for.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n

Doug Radford, Broker\/Owner of Realty Executives Exceptional REALTORS\u00ae<\/a>, could not agree more. \u201cI speak on behalf of the entire organization when I say that we are immensely happy to see Cathy recognized by SCAR,\u201d said Radford. \u201cNot only is she an amazing mentor and sales agent, but she is an amazing lady. Cathy is not the braggadocious type, but she puts 110% toward everything. She has done so much in the local community and agent community and fully deserves this honor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting to Know Cathy Kut<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A resident of Sussex County since 1974, Cathy has never been known to sit idle. She received her real estate license in 1986 and has seen significant professional success, amassing dozens of awards from New Home Sales to Five Star Professional Awards to NJ REALTORS\u00ae Circle of Excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outside of business, Cathy dedicates hours of her time to numerous community activities such as the annual United Way Chili Open Golf Outing, Lake Mohawk German Christmas Market, and Boy Scouts of America\u2019s Tribute to Women\u2019s Banquet. She has been a member of the Board of Directors for Sussex County Big Brothers & Big Sisters, United Way, the Chamber of Commerce, among others. However, in the true and humble Cathy style, she says her greatest achievement is her family. Her three sons and six grandchildren are what she calls her \u201cshining stars.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Onward and Upward<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
