Realty Executives Terra Firma, led by CEO\/Broker Ann Bowman, is located at 720 S. Glenwood Avenue, Suite 210, in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.daltonga.gov\/\">Dalton, Georgia<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Bowman was born and raised in Dalton and feels a strong connection to the community. Before venturing into the real estate industry, she worked in several different areas including carpet mill work and office administration.\u00a0 Despite living in the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.atlasobscura.com\/articles\/from-the-bedspread-capital-of-the-world-to-the-carpet-capital-of-the-world\">Carpet Capital of the World<\/a>,\u201d Bowman found those types of jobs confining. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bowman had\ndreamed of being a realtor since she was about six years old. \u201cEvery Thursday\nevening, my mom and I would go grocery shopping. While she was shopping, I\nwould be sitting under the shopping cart looking through the real estate\nmagazines that were then available outside most grocery stores,\u201d Bowman said.\n\u201cThere was one particular agent I was fascinated with- she always had lots of\nlistings in the magazine. I would tell my mom I wanted to build and sell houses\nwhen I grew up and be just like that agent.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bowman\nbegan selling manufactured homes in 1998 before moving to mortgage loan\norigination. She obtained her real estate license in 2001. Deciding to start\nher own brokerage was an easy decision, and a natural next step in her career\njourney.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI made\nthe decision to build my own brokerage primarily because I wanted to share my\nyears of experience and knowledge with other agents and clients.
