Here\u2019s what makes the Great Lakes so special (and why you should move\nthere, too). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Housing\nfor every lifestyle <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Great Lakes region of the U.S. has a\nvariety of housing options fit for every lifestyle, whether you\u2019re single,\nmarried with kids, or somewhere in between. The small towns and big cities of\nIllinois, Indiana, and Michigan offer everything from big cities to small\ntowns, each of which is a great place to live no matter your interest. Be sure\nto check out the local favorite Michigan communities of Traverse City and Grand\nHaven, the beautiful and historic Indiana towns of Carmel and Fishes, and the\nunforgettable Illinois cities of Chicago and Evanston. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A\nnature-lover\u2019s paradise<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With gorgeous springs and summers, snow-filled\nwinters, and beautiful autumns, getting to experience all four seasons in the\nstates near the Great Lakes make this a nature-lover\u2019s paradise. There is so\nmuch to do and see at the countless outdoor destinations in this environment,\nfrom watersports and fishing on the lakes to camping and hiking nearby, the\nGreat Lakes are the perfect backdrop for anyone wanting to live in and\nexperience the beauty of these states 365 days a year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Excellent\nschool districts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This region of the U.S. also boasts excellent\nschool districts. The Midwest truly has it all when it comes to education,\nwhether you\u2019re looking for great schools for your children or you are an adult\nor university student wanting to further your education. Several school\ndistricts in Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan are known for being among the best\npublic school systems in all of the U.S., and the Midwest is known for\ntop-of-the-line universities like the University of Notre Dame and Northwestern\nUniversity. Education is one thing you won\u2019t have to compromise on when you\nmove to the Great Lakes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Attractions\nby land and water<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you move to the Great Lakes, you\u2019ll never\nbe bored, as you\u2019ll find plenty of must-see attractions by land and water\neverywhere you look. If you decide to settle down in a lakeside town, you will\nlikely be on the water during the spring and summer, but no matter where you\ndecide to purchase a home in these states, the close proximity to the lakes\nwill probably give you the constant itch to get outdoors. There are plenty of\nattractions by land, as well, from museums to historic towns and even sprawling\nlandscapes you can\u2019t help but get lost in.
