{"id":1485,"date":"2016-12-05T05:00:20","date_gmt":"2016-12-05T12:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.realtyexecutives.com\/blog\/?p=1485"},"modified":"2016-12-05T09:06:34","modified_gmt":"2016-12-05T16:06:34","slug":"ramon-cardenas-appointed-president-of-lynwood-chamber-of-commerce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.realtyexecutives.com\/blog\/ramon-cardenas-appointed-president-of-lynwood-chamber-of-commerce","title":{"rendered":"Ramon Cardenas appointed president of Lynwood Chamber of Commerce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtyexecutives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Ramon.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1486\" src=\"https:\/\/www.realtyexecutives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/Ramon.jpg\" alt=\"ramon\" width=\"800\" height=\"582\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Ramon Cardenas was studying finance at California State University when he discovered real estate. \u201cMy goal was to be a stock broker or personal banker,\u201d he says.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was introduced to real estate during my last year at college, so I graduated with a Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Finance and a minor in Real Estate.\u201d He graduated top of the real estate class of 2007 and went on to become a top-performing agent, continuously placing in the top 20% of REALTORS\u00ae in Los Angeles County when ranked by sales volume.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Cardenas is active in the real estate community and was recently appointed president of the Lynwood Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s an honor that my fellow board members voted for me to guide the chamber,\u201d shares Cardenas. \u201cAs the president, my goal is grow our membership, provide more networking opportunities while also creating more exposure for our members, offer quality education seminars, and to provide benefits to all of our members.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cardenas is also an active member of the National Association Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, Kiwanis Club, the California Association of REALTORS\u00ae, and the National Association of REALTORS\u00ae.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s our duty as Realtors to give back to our communities by donating our time and getting involved with local charities,\u201d he adds.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" style=\"background: #FFF;
