Realty Executives Great Lakes Region Raises $10,000 at Annual Community Event

Realty Executives brokerages of the Great Lakes Region recently benefited the Make-a-Wish foundation, raising $10,000 at the annual Booling for Wishes event. The Make-a-Wish foundation works to grant wishes to children who have been diagnosed with a terminal or life-threatening illness. The money raised by the event will grant two wishes for children and their families.

Founded in 1980, The Make-a-Wish organization, 501(c) nonprofit, has granted nearly 480,000 wishes worldwide. Each wish, averaged at $5,000, is chosen personally by the child and family receiving the gift. Headquartered in Phoenix, the foundation is active in over 40 countries and continues to grow globally through generous donations and volunteerism.

Realty Executives Premier Raises $10,000 for the Marty Lyons Foundation

Realty Executives Premier based in Burtonsville, MD recently raised $10,000 for the Marty Lyons Foundation at its second annual Family Fun Night at the Ballpark. The Marty Lyons Foundation grants wishes to children who have been diagnosed with a terminal or life-threatening illness. The money raised by the Premier brokerage event will grant two wishes for children and their families.  

Over the past 37 years, the 501(c)3 organization, founded by former NFL and All-American athlete, Marty Lyons, has worked to keep hope alive in the hearts of thousands of children and has provided support for their families. The Marty Lyons Foundation, has grown to 10 chapters in 12 states and has granted over 7,600 wishes, brightening the lives of countless children.

“We were honored to hold this event, supporting a great cause,” said John Burgess, Broker at Realty Executives Premier. “This is the second annual Family Fun Night and I hope that we can continue this tradition and raise money for these brave children.”
The Realty Executives Premier office has served home buyers and sellers for over a decade. It is located at 3919 National Drive, Suite 310 in Burtonsville. The brokerage consists of more than 20 agents with three support staff and is licensed in Maryland, the District of Columbia, Virginia and Pennsylvania. In addition to supporting the Marty Lyons Foundation, Premier also contributes to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation and So Others Might Eat, a service organization which supports the homeless residents of Washington, DC. The team specializes in residential, commercial, new home representation, property management and investment real estate.

Realty Executives Nevada’s Choice, A Network Partner with Feeding Pets of the Homeless

Realty Executives Nevada’s Choice was welcomed in June 2019 by the national nonprofit, Feeding Pets of the Homeless as a Donation Site. Donations of pet food and supplies can be taken to 800 E. College Parkway, Carson City, NV and will then be delivered to a local food bank, homeless shelter or homeless encampment. Feeding Pets of the Homeless is the only national network focused completely on feeding and providing emergency veterinary care to pets of the homeless.

Realty Executives Midwest’s Joan Wayman Helps Raise $31,000 at the Taste of Route 66 Event Benefiting Local Food For Kid’s Charity

Realty Executives Midwest believes in giving back to the community in which they live and work. Recently, Broker Joan Wayman assisted in organizing the Rotary Club of Darien, Illinois’ Taste of Route 66 event. This annual event features local restaurants who create delicious samples for ticket holders. People are also able to bid online to purchase donated items. All proceeds benefit a local Food for Kids Program put in place to help food-insecure children bring meals home on Fridays during the school year, as many families may be dependent on school sponsored lunches. Every six weeks, Wayman coordinates the Rotary Club members and local volunteers to buy and pack over 1,100 food bags for school social workers to privately place into the children’s backpacks. This years, the Taste of Route 66 event raised over $31,000 to help buy and pack nutritional meals for 200+ elementary students.

Pat Wunderlich of Realty Executives Integrity Helps Raise Money for Wisconsin Charity

Realty Executives Integrity is proud to announce Pat Wunderlich’s involvement in the 25th annual Ladies Theme Luncheon, which has now raised over $425,000 since its inception. The women’s group “Designing Women for a Cause”, where Wunderlich is a member, began 25 years ago and is a fundraising group that has been participating in the annual spring luncheon since the beginning. The group and luncheon raise money to support the charity ACAP (Adaptive Community Approach Program). Over the years, the popularity of their efforts has led to the addition of a cocktail party and most recently, a public viewing. The women’s group started as a modest home and school group but is now instrumental in the support of ACAP and other local non-profits.

Realty Executives Cooper Spransy’s Rena Ripp Gives Back

For the past five years or so, Waunakee’s Wine Walks have drawn hundreds to the downtown area to visit the shops and experience a night out.

But many may not realize that the event, organized by a small group of energetic women, raises funds to help the community.

The Waunakee Professional Women’s group, or WPW, is a 501 © 3 nonprofit and uses the proceeds for college scholarships and to help Waunakee residents in need.

Realty Executives Premiere Raises Over $30,000 for Eureka Police Officers Support Fund

As part of an ongoing commitment to the community, Realty Executives Premiere of Eureka, MO recently raised over $30,000 dollars for the Eureka Police Officers Support Fund (EPOSF) during its Third Annual “Big Dawg Poker Bash and Silent Auction.” Over 150 community members attended the annual Realty Executives Premiere Big Dawg Poker Bash to support the local police department. The event made history, with the most money raised yet in the event’s history.

EPOSF was founded in 2016 and created to champion community support, partnership and outreach for the professional men and women who serve Eureka Police Department. EPOSF exists to help support the financial needs of the Eureka Police Department, Eureka officers and their families during times of crisis or disaster.

Realty Executives Premiere is operated by Brokers Chuck and Kim Maher, serving the St. Louis, Franklin and Jefferson counties. Throughout the years, Realty Executives Premiere has been focused on giving back to the local communities and being active in fundraising events and charitable organizations.

“We are very passionate about this fundraiser that benefits our own Eureka Police Officers. We love supporting our community and are excited to break the record again next year,” Broker Kim Maher said.

Along with the EPOSF, the brokerage has worked with Byrnes Mill police department “shop with a cop” program, and has bolstered the USMC Toys for Tots program, the Marine Focus group and more.
