Realty Executives Midwest believes in giving back to the community in which they live and work. Recently, Broker Joan Wayman assisted in organizing the Rotary Club of Darien, Illinois’ Taste of Route 66 event. This annual event features local restaurants who create delicious samples for ticket holders. People are also able to bid online to purchase donated items. All proceeds benefit a local Food for Kids Program put in place to help food-insecure children bring meals home on Fridays during the school year, as many families may be dependent on school sponsored lunches. Every six weeks, Wayman coordinates the Rotary Club members and local volunteers to buy and pack over 1,100 food bags for school social workers to privately place into the children’s backpacks. This years, the Taste of Route 66 event raised over $31,000 to help buy and pack nutritional meals for 200+ elementary students.
Realty Executives Integrity is proud to announce Pat Wunderlich’s involvement in the 25th annual Ladies Theme Luncheon, which has now raised over $425,000 since its inception. The women’s group “Designing Women for a Cause”, where Wunderlich is a member, began 25 years ago and is a fundraising group that has been participating in the annual spring luncheon since the beginning. The group and luncheon raise money to support the charity ACAP (Adaptive Community Approach Program). Over the years, the popularity of their efforts has led to the addition of a cocktail party and most recently, a public viewing. The women’s group started as a modest home and school group but is now instrumental in the support of ACAP and other local non-profits.

For the past five years or so, Waunakee’s Wine Walks have drawn hundreds to the downtown area to visit the shops and experience a night out.
But many may not realize that the event, organized by a small group of energetic women, raises funds to help the community.
The Waunakee Professional Women’s group, or WPW, is a 501 © 3 nonprofit and uses the proceeds for college scholarships and to help Waunakee residents in need.
As part of an ongoing commitment to the community, Realty Executives Premiere of Eureka, MO recently raised over $30,000 dollars for the Eureka Police Officers Support Fund (EPOSF) during its Third Annual “Big Dawg Poker Bash and Silent Auction.” Over 150 community members attended the annual Realty Executives Premiere Big Dawg Poker Bash to support the local police department. The event made history, with the most money raised yet in the event’s history.
EPOSF was founded in 2016 and created to champion community support, partnership and outreach for the professional men and women who serve Eureka Police Department. EPOSF exists to help support the financial needs of the Eureka Police Department, Eureka officers and their families during times of crisis or disaster.
Realty Executives Premiere is operated by Brokers Chuck and Kim Maher, serving the St. Louis, Franklin and Jefferson counties. Throughout the years, Realty Executives Premiere has been focused on giving back to the local communities and being active in fundraising events and charitable organizations.
“We are very passionate about this fundraiser that benefits our own Eureka Police Officers. We love supporting our community and are excited to break the record again next year,” Broker Kim Maher said.
Along with the EPOSF, the brokerage has worked with Byrnes Mill police department “shop with a cop” program, and has bolstered the USMC Toys for Tots program, the Marine Focus group and more.
