Regina was born, raised and educated in San Antonio. She received her BA in Criminal Justice from St. Mary’s University. In that first summer after graduating, to take a break from her studies, she took a job as a Pre-4K teacher in a private school. It only took that first year of teaching to realize she had a passion in education and wanted to continue helping kids acquire knowledge and a love for learning. Instead of pursuing her studies in criminal law, or law enforcement, as she originally intended to do, she instead focused on education and completed her MA in Reading and a second MA in Educational Leadership. Regina was an educator for 16 years in the San Antonio area.
Regina’s passion to help and encourage extends to all she comes in contact with. When her mother was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer in 2013, she did some reseach and realized that little was known about this hideous disease known as the “silent killer in women” and she knew she wanted to help change that. Regina decided to join the San Antonio Chapter of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) as a volunteer. She works tirelessly throughout the year to educate and spread awareness to everyone (not just women) about Ovarian Cancer so that all may learn how to recognize symptoms and when it’s time to see a doctor. Because of her efforts and those of the fabulous team she is proud to be a part of, the NOCC was able to raise $50,000 in the 2017 NOCC 5K run/walk. Regina’s mom is a two time cancer survivor and is currently doing very well.
Because Regina was raised in San Antonio, she loves this beautiful city with its diverse culture and many eclectic neighborhoods. When she and her husband, Ron, decided it was time to buy a home, they explored every corner of the city not wanting to limit their options; and, they could see that every neighborhood in San Antonio has its advantages and opportunities. In working with different realtors while searching for their new home, Regina realized what home buyers seek in a realtor and how she could help people in even a different way. It awakened in her a desire to help people find their perfect home! With Regina’s experience in her previous career as an educator, and her volunteer work with the NOCC, she is a service to the community. She wants to continue serving San Antonio and the surrounding areas by helping you find your perfect home so that everyone in your family is happy!
