Mike has called Flagler County, Florida home for over 25 years. Mike’s parents relocated to the area from New Jersey in 1988. Mike enrolled as a sophomore in Flagler Palm Coast High School the summer after relocating to Palm Coast. Mike is a graduate of Flagler Palm Coast High School c/o ‘91. Mike also holds an Associate’s in Science degree from Daytona Beach Community College (now known as “Daytona State College”). Mike is also a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice. Mike is also an active member of Palm Coast Elks Lodge #2709.
Before pursuing his life-long passion in real estate, Mike was a career-Deputy Sheriff with both the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office and the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office in Daytona Beach, Florida. After 25 years of continuous service to his hometown communities, Mike was eligible for a full-retirement from his life’s work as law enforcement officer. In April 2017 Mike retired from the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office with full honors and continues to call Flagler County as home!

And a final note: Most friends, family, and work associates know Mike as “Tiggy” not long after he called Flagler County home! ~ While in Flagler Palm Coast High School, friends had a difficult time pronouncing “Tiggy’s” last name…So one day, a friend said you are now “Tiggy” and it has lovingly stuck for 25-plus years!
