Linda Byrom - Biography

I began my real estate life in Albany, Georgia, working as a mortgage loan processor, in 1970.  For 20 years total, I worked in various positions in mortgage lending.  In 1999, I got my license to sell real estate.  Most of my adult life, I’ve worked in some facet of the real estate industry.  To you, perhaps, that probably means I may know what I’m doing!

One way I serve my clients is by staying informed, taking advantage of educational opportunities and using what I’ve learned for their benefit.  Through additional education, I have earned the following designations:

GRI, Graduate of Realtor Institute

e-PRO

ABR, Accredited Buyer Representative

SRES, Senior Real Estate Specialist

I enjoy working with people to sell their property.  I totally love helping people find a new home.  So, I work with all types of Buyers and Sellers.  But, what sends me “over the top” is being able to help our Seniors as they make difficult choices and embark on life in a way, often very different than what they planned.  And, who better to help them than me?  I’m a Senior, I’ve lost my husband, sold my dream home that was to have been our very last home, and moved back to my hometown, San Antonio.

I have a strong work ethic.  I am a person of integrity, even when no one is watching.  I treat others with respect.  I put my best efforts out for my clients.   I believe in the Golden Rule and practice it daily.

I am mother to 7 children, grandmother to 16 and great-grandmother to 9.

When I’m not working in real estate, or playing with grandchildren, I can usually be found somewhere making a quilt, in a guild meeting or teaching a class in making quilts.  I am active in my Church.  I’m substitute teacher for a Bible Study class.  I head the Prayer Quilt Ministry that provides quilts to people with serious disease, terminal illness or going through a really bad time.  I sing with the Senior Choir.  We perform at Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Homes from time to time, and sometimes they let us sing at Church.

My clients deserve excellent care and service, and a knowledgeable Realtor who looks after their best interest.  You will have that in me!!
