After 15 years in the Advertising field, Laura got her real estate license right after hurricane Katrina hit the New Orleans area in 2005. There was a real need for patient and compassionate agents at that time. Her very first client was a man whose apartment had been destroyed when the roof blew off and rain came in. He was going to be relocated to Atlanta permanently if he didn't find a home in New Orleans. Laura helped him in one weekend find a new home and he was able to stay in his beloved home town.
The daughter of New Yorkers with a sense of adventure, Laura was born in Rhode Island and then spent her early years in the mid-west, finally moving to Metairie in 1983. She graduated from Archbishop Chapelle High School and Loyola University New Orleans.
Laura likes people, houses, and negotiating a fair deal. It's a great combination that has lead to a wonderful second career as a real estate agent serving the entire New Orleans area for almost 12 years.
If you choose Laura as your agent, you will hear from her a lot. She wants you to know she is working hard for you!
A big fan of condos, Laura understands the pros and cons of condo living and knows what to look for in the condominium documents. There are many well-run condo complexes in all parts of town.
The East Bank of Jefferson Parish is Laura's main focus. She has resided in this part of town for most of her life and knows the neighborhoods and architecture well. This part of town includes Metairie, Kenner, Jefferson, Harahan, and River Ridge.
