Christopher Brown - Biography

 

I was licensed in 1987 and started Real Estate working for Huskey Realty in Longwood, FL. There, I learned high-end Real Estate from E. Everette Huskey. Husky developed Sweetwater Oaks, Rivercrest, Sweetwater Club and many other prestigious communities throughout the Orlando area. After a few years at Huskey Realty, I went from being a new agent to running a top producing team. After Husky I have worked at: RE/MAX for 5 years, Realty Executives Orlando for 8 years, Keller Williams for 3 years and Charles Rutenberg Realty for 10 years. Now, I am returning back to Realty Executives, where I am about to celebrate my 34th year in the business!

I've successfully helped over 740 families reach their Real Estate goals with a total volume over $140,000,000. I provide a lot of experience that is passed onto my buyers and sellers. I've also earned 9 national designations and certifications over the years which adds to my experience that I share with my clients.

 

My business is divided equally between buyer's and seller’s, so I like to keep in touch with changes in the dynamic market. I work with a lot of relocation clients. For example, most families have limited time and lots of stress, so my job is to make the move as smooth as possible by using my experience and professional connections. I listen to my clients' wants & needs to guide them and help reach their Real Estate goals. I work from Disney all the way to Deland, Clermont to the Beaches. Chris - Personal Life

 

I am originally from Medical Lake, Washington (Spokane) and moved to Orlando in 1978 at the age of 17. I attended Seminole State College with a degree in Business Administration. My father was in the Air Force, last stationed at Fairchild A.F.B., where I was born. I grew up on a farm where I learned how to grow any type of plant imaginable. Also, my father was an agronomist so we had crops, a greenhouse, and huge gardens where we produced vast amounts of vegetables, which we sold. With that, our family owned a custom home business and built hundreds of homes, I worked on the crews learning every aspect of home design and construction. When we moved to Florida, we owned a business called Log Structures of the South, where we built custom red cedar log homes all over the Southeast U.S. Each home was a custom masterpiece. Then I got into the design and sales side of the industry before getting into real estate.

 

In my rare free time, I enjoy taking my bike out and tearing up some pavement, going to the many theme parks that are around Orlando, hitting the beach for fun weekends and love to enjoy time with my friends at the local restaurants and wine bars. At home, I spend time improving my home and hitting the hot tub to chill out after a hard day’s work. Also, I grow lots of house plants and then give them away to my friends.
