Anne McPherson - Biography
Proudly a fourth generation Arizona native, I am currently entering my 25th year as a real estate agent in both Arizona and California. My real estate career began in 1990 with a land developer, SunCor Development, where I was the Director of Broker Marketing for ten years. In 2000, my husband was transferred to Orange County, California, and while I was sad to leave Arizona was happy to begin a new chapter of my life in Dana Point, California. After receiving my California real estate license, I joined a wonderful brokerage and enjoyed learning a completely new real estate market. In 2004 we were transferred back to Arizona but my business relationships with California agents have continued. I return to Orange County periodically to keep the agents abreast of the Arizona real estate market and increase my referral business.
We settled in Dana Point, CA because the local high school offered a wonderful theatre arts program; (SOCSA) South Orange Country School of the Arts, that my son attended. Theatre was new and exciting for our family and I jumped right in and joined the SOCA Foundation of Parents and began making new friends and raising money for this wonderful program. As a side note, my son is now entertaining the world and is presently performing in the Disney Broadway show, Beauty and the Beast.
After returning to Arizona, I threw myself into the exciting 2004 Arizona real estate market, and have never looked back. Being a Frank Lloyd Wright enthusiast, my passion is finding unique homes with a modern and artistic flair for my buyers. I pride myself on staying educated on the Arizona market and keeping my clients informed and happy, and always putting their best interests first.
Surround by a large family and lifelong friends, I can't imagine living anywhere else. Arizona is so beautiful and I feel grateful for every day I can share with my clients; along with the many areas I can introduce them to. My commitment to excellence and with 25 years of experience, there is not better Realtor to choose than me.
PS, My expertise at selling on Ebay comes in handy when clients are ready to part with valuables.
My passion and favorite hobby is sewing. My way of giving back is by creating darling dresses for "Dress a Girl Around the World", which is a campaign under Hope 4 Women International, a non-denominational independent Christian organization. Dresses are made out of pillowcases and fabric, sent all over the world, with the dream of a world in which every girl has at least one new dress. "By providing a new dress, you may well be changing a young girl's destiny. Village pastors tell us that a girl wearing a new dress presents an appearance that she is well cared for and may discourage would-be predators. We attach our Dress a Girl label on the outside of each dress sending an additional message that each girl is under the care of an organization, giving her added protection from those who would harm her. We want girls to kow that they are worthy of love and respect and that God loves them!" My sewing machine is right next to my home office desk, so when I am not working with clients, I am making beautiful dresses for girls. My daughter, Olivia, is learning how to made these dresses also.
