Martha Rodriguez

Martha Rodriguez was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on October 10, 1972.  She started her studies at an early age, which allowed her to enter APEC University in Santo Domingo at the age of 14.  In 1991, she graduated as salutatorian of her class, acquiring a degree in accounting.  In 1994, she continued her post-graduate studies in financial administration at APEC University, and in 2000 she graduated from CDEP University as valedictorian of her class with a degree in law studies.  

Martha held several management positions in the Dominican Republic in the tourism and financial sectors.  In her last position, she served as the Director of the Realization of Assets for the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic.  

In 2006, Martha moved to the United States of America to start a career in real estate, obtaining her license as a Realtor in the State of New Jersey.  Martha also completed a writing course at Berkeley College in Newark. 

Martha actively participates in the activities of the catholic community of St. Peter’s Church in Belleville, and is also the Founder/President of the Pico Duarte Foundation in Santo Domingo.  Martha is also a member of the National Notary Association, National Association of Realtors, and the Dominican-American Council of New Jersey.  Martha Rodriguez resides in the Township of Belleville, New Jersey, with her husband, Mr. Julián Matos, and her three children, Melissa, Julissa, and Ernesto Antonio.
