Originally from Illinois, I moved to Arizona in 1980. It only took a single visit to Arizona to decide the long, cold Midwest winters were best left as memories. I knew I was ready for a warmer climate and was sure this was the location for me. I immediately obtained my real estate license in 1980. “I thought it was a way to help people with a very important decision in life. It also provided me an opportunity to meet new people in my new home state. At the end of the day, providing invaluable service is what it’s all about – forming lasting relationships along the way is a fantastic added bonus.”
These philosophies, coupled with my many years in the legal field, have proven to be real assets. I believe communication is the key to a successful transaction. I focus on maintaining a clear dialogue with all parties throughout the process. Because of the personal attention provided to each client, and my ability to make things happen, many of my clients have become close personal friends. Here are just a few comments from some of those clients:
“I would like to share my thoughts on Sherri Cummings. She is the best Realtor that my wife and I ever dealt with. She was prompt, always very quick with communication and a valued resource. Sherri made the process fun, exciting and enjoyable. She always answered our questions and was a constant advocate for my family's best interests. She saved us from many headaches and I would (and do) recommend her to anyone and everyone. Thank you again for your professional help Sherri.”
“We were referred to Sherri through a neighbor of ours here in North Dakota. From the first day we called her until we purchased our home, she went way above and beyond the call of any Realtor’s duties. She was very open minded and took us to any home that we were interested in looking at (even though she knew there was no way she would let us buy some of them). Sherri made sure that our interests and our priorities were always of the utmost importance making our purchase as trouble free as possible. She is very thorough making sure every “t” is crossed and every “i” is dotted. We highly recommend her as one of the best Realtors to work with when buying a new home.”
“We met Sherri at an open house and immediately became very comfortable with her. She showed us many different homes in the Phoenix area and spent many hours with us looking at properties all over the Valley. She was very professional and an excellent Realtor. Our initial intentions were to look at homes on our own, but once we met Sherri, we changed our minds! She was very knowledgeable and well informed with the housing market. We have recommended her to a few of our friends. We know that they will be treated with tremendous service like we were.”
“With regards to the sale of our house in Phoenix, my husband and I appreciate the courtesy, professionalism and help that we received. Sherri made it possible for us to sell our house while living out of state with the least amount of stress on us. Sincere thanks for all your help. It was a pleasure associating with you.”
“Our first connection with Sherri was by a recommendation from a trusted friend. Since we had never spent much time in Arizona, she became our eyes and ears to the housing possibilities in Phoenix and its environs. Her service was professional, as well as personal. Sherri went the extra mile to ensure our winter in the area was memorable.”
“I just wanted to thank you so much for all your hard work in helping us find the right house for us. You spent over 2 months searching for the perfect house for our needs. Anytime I had any questions or problems, I felt comfortable calling you knowing that you would answer right away and solve my problems. I have now been settled in our new home for over a month with our new baby, and I couldn’t be happier. I can’t thank you enough, and I will be sure to let everyone I know about your superior customer service. I would have been lost without you.”
I also have a keen understanding of the new home market, from both the buyer and builder perspectives. This knowledge has served me well and proven that I can be a strong negotiator on behalf of my clients.
I am passionate about helping people. After I lost my twin sister to cancer, I became dedicated to assisting various organizations in their quest to fight this dreaded disease. My activities have included participation in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, The American Cancer Society’s Annual South Mountain Climb and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Tempe Town Lake Walk. Currently I am a monthly contributor to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. I am also a strong believer in animal rights. I am a monthly contributor to the ASPCA as well. My belief is that animals are helpless with no voices and we need to step in and assist whenever we can. It saddens me when I see animal cruelty and we can all play a small part in preventing it. I have a soft spot in my heart (since I don’t have any children) for animals. At one point, I had adopted two cats and two dogs which were strays in our neighborhood. They all lived long, happy, spoiled lives in my home. I wouldn’t change those moments and memories for anything. My church is also a very important aspect of my life and I attend church weekly. Staying focused on the really important aspects of life, makes everything else fall into the proper place.
I hope this information gives you a little background on me to help you better make a decision on choosing the right Realtor. Thank you for your time. I would welcome the opportunity to assist you.
