Covid-19 forced most people to “Stay-at-Home.” It did not stop over 1200 Realty Executives from across North America and from as far away as Israel and Egypt from using that time to improve their skills.
The 4-week, 8-session course focused on the Realty Executives in-house Digital Marketing Program (DMX). The online program included presenters from the REI training centre, guest lecturers and executives from across the system, who have successfully applied the DMX resources. “I found the sessions really helpful,” stated Clarence Collison (REX Associates). “To see the DMX system at work was especially beneficial.”
Graduation day was May 27th. Participants, who completed the course are now certified as DMX Realtors, which includes a certificate for their office, the right to display the DMX logo on their website and marketing materials. “Todays clients expect their realtor to understand and apply the new technologies”, states Mike Burman (North Bay). “It is becoming a virtual business. Our agents need to compete in a different way. The DMX logo signals that our agents are knowledgeable in those technologies that will help sell your home”
Patrick Van Den Bossche, president of REX International said he was totally impressed by the response. “We saw the quarantine time, as an opportunity for our executives to grow their business,” he states. We wanted our realtors to “Survive” this crisis and emerge from it with better skills and enhanced knowledge that will allow them to “Thrive’ in the new normal. I believe we achieved that goal.” I thank all of you that participated.
