I was raised in Amarillo, Texas and graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. While attending U.T., I was a custom furniture builder and later, started a lumber mill operation in Mexico with a fellow student. Upon graduation, I co-founded a contracting business in Austin specializing in historic restoration. I moved to the Valley of the Sun in 1987. In my free time, I enjoy golf, hiking, white-water rafting and the arts. Most importantly, I cherish my daughter and the time we spend together.
