I am not surprised that Wheaton made the list of top places to live in the country! As someone that grew up here and moved away for college and a few additional years, I was drawn back to Wheaton for so many reasons! I loved my upbringing here and could not wait to share a similar experience with my children and husband! The park district system here is incredbile! From utilizing the amazing amentities such as Rice Pool, the Park District building and all it has to offer from a work out facility, to indoor track, and virtually any activity for both adults and children. People in the Chicagoland area are not unaccustomed to park district systems, but what other town has a zoo (Cosley Farm Zoo) & public horse stables (Danada Horse Farm) along with several other parks, preserves, and updated playgrounds?! Living here provides a wonderful experience for the whole family.
Downtown Wheaton has recently been upping their game in the realm of trendy new restaurnats and boutiques. My husband and I have loved the new Moveable Feast, Burger Social, and Gia Mia!
