The Go Jo Team

Welcome to the best concierge real estate experience!  We are the Go Jo Team officially founded on January 11, 1992 the day we married.  We raised our three sons between Philadelphia, PA and Indianapolis, IN.  We are the proud grandparents of a beautiful, spunky grand daughter, four grand dogs and a grand kitty.

Once all the little Go Jos had flown the coop we focused on ourselves and discovered two things: 1. We wanted a more active and diverse city to call home 2. We just didn't want to be cold and shut in at any point through the year.  Our solution? Move to the place we grew to love after many visits over many years.  So here we are!!!

Who are the Go Jos? This dynamic team is comprised of Edward (Ed, Eddie, Eduardo) & Marcia Johnson.  Together we bring over twenty years of management, sales and service to the land of the world’s most famous mouse.  All of that experience, along with six years of real estate experience, will be on full display along with our love for real estate, exceptional service and professionalism.

My passion for service started more than twenty-five year ago.  Something ignited in me the first time I received superior service.  From that experience I wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself.  So I dedicated my life and began a career in hospitality.  

Through the years I have worked for Five Stars hotels, managed exclusive catering companies and fine dining restaurants such as Wolfgang Puck’s at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.  I also gained invaluable customer service experience while managing restaurants for Nordstrom.

I obtained my first real estate license in 2006 in Indianapolis.  I worked with REMax for several years successfully assisting first time home buyers, clients selling their homes as well as investors. Now I bring that experience to Florida to help families achieve their dreams.  Having owned and sold two homes of my own I understand the importance of working with a team that is detailed and service oriented.  We can do that for you! 

Edward is my legal name but my Philly, New York and Rhode Island family call me Ed.  My Indiana family call me Eddie.  My mother is from Panama with Caribbean heritage and calls me Eduardo at times.  

I am a U.S. Navy veteran where I served five years as a Sonar Technician.  I was stationed on the USS Patterson (FF-1061) & the USS Clark (FFG-11) between 1988 and 1992 when i was honorably discharged.  Being a Sonar Technician fueled a passion for technology that I had from childhood.

As a Business Management major at Indiana Wesleyan University I learned the business skills that helped me become a leading, customer focused sales person and sales manager with Verizon for thirteen years.

I recently acquired my real estate license, but I am no stranger to the real estate industry.  I worked as a new home construction Sales Counselor for the largest home builder in Indianapolis.  I have also bought and sold two homes of my own.  This experience is all yours once you choose The Go Jo Team to represent you in your next real estate transaction!
